Privacy policy

We take the protection of your data seriously and follow the principle of data avoidance. This statement informs you about the collection and processing of your data when you visit our website.

Data protection

We comply with the rules of the applicable data protection laws and therefore, also in your interest, take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We would therefore like to inform you about the collection and processing of your data in connection with our website and the provision of our services.

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation and other national data protection laws of the member states as well as other data protection provisions is:

Collection and processing of your data

We follow the principle of data avoidance and data minimisation. We therefore collect personal data not at all or only to the extent technically necessary. Sensitive data, such as personal data, is always transmitted in encrypted form using SSL (Secure Socket Layer, at least 128 bit).

We only collect personal data if you provide it to us voluntarily, for example when using a contact form or by sending an email. We deliberately refrain from collecting “log file” information such as browser type, operating system, IP address or time of the server request.

Personal data is processed solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry and for initiating and performing a contract. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Under no circumstances will personal data be used for any other purpose outside our company, sold or otherwise passed on to third parties without your express consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Contact form and email contact

Our website provides a contact form that can be used to get in touch electronically. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered in the input form is transmitted to us and stored.

Alternatively, you can contact us via the email address provided. In this case, the user’s personal data transmitted with the email is stored. In this context, the data is not passed on to third parties. The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation.

Where the user has given consent, the legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The legal basis for processing data transmitted in the course of sending an email is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If the email contact aims at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We process the personal data from the input form solely to handle the contact. In the case of contact by email, this also constitutes the necessary legitimate interest in processing the data.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data from the input form of the contact form and data sent by email, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation has ended when the circumstances indicate that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved.

The user may withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If the user contacts us by email, they may object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. All personal data stored in the course of the contact will then be deleted.

Rights of the data subject

Your legitimate interests are taken into account in accordance with the statutory provisions. You have the right at any time, free of charge and by written request, to obtain information about the data stored about you, its origin and its recipients, as well as the right to rectification, blocking or erasure of such data. You may also request the restriction of processing of personal data concerning you.

If you have asserted the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing against the controller, the controller is obliged to notify all recipients to whom the personal data concerning you has been disclosed of this rectification or erasure or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

You have the right to be informed about these recipients by the controller.

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to the controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to whom the personal data was provided.

Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw consent given for the purpose of data processing in writing with effect for the future. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the withdrawal.

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR.

The supervisory authority with which the complaint has been lodged informs the complainant of the progress and outcome of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy.
