Desk sharing
How many desks does your site really need?
The desk-sharing ratio states how many desks there are per employee. 70 % means: 100 employees share 70 desks. How far you can go is determined by attendance.
- 1Possible ratio based on attendanceAnyone on site on a normal day needs a desk. Add a buffer for peak days. Below that, it gets tight.
- 2Your goalYou set your ratio between the possible ratio and today. The Site Check converts it into desks and space requirement.
- 3Measure firstAttendance is initially an estimate. A measurement turns it into a figure before space is given up. Depending on the building, via Wi-Fi, turnstile, footfall sensors or survey (Barometer).
120 employees share 96 desks.
